This is also a prime example of how 'override' folders work. The game still uses Large, Medium, and Small for these characters, even though the engine can adapt a single image for Player Portraits, so you need all three. If you want to replace Imoen's portraits, for example, you'll need to have 3 images ( large, medium, and small). But I'm not seeing any override folders with files in them to switch a portrait. That guide I looked at talked about an override folder that should already have the character portraits in it to replace, by my understanding. Thanks, I've managed to make the PC's portrait changeable. You just need to copy the files into the BG2 folder's portraits or override folder to make the same content available in BG2. You can do the same thing for an override folder, you can also place the override folder in the Program Files (x86) / Steam / steamapps / common / Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition folder. Put the valid custom portrait image files in the portraits folder and start / restart the game. If you do not have a Portraits folder there, just create one and name it portraits. You should find a Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition folder in the Documents folder.
